Donya Ziraksari
Donya Ziraksari is the Founder and Principal of Project Plus Solutions, LLC. She is a licensed Project Management Professional (PMP), Mechanical Engineer, published author, and human rights activist. With extensive experience leading complex programs in technology and energy sectors, engineering operations, and strategic consulting, she has a proven track record of delivering results across both government and private sectors.
As a strong advocate for Equal Human Rights, Donya integrates her global perspective with her professional expertise to promote equity, accountability, and innovation. Through Project Plus Solutions, she combines structured methodologies with strategic leadership to help organizations optimize performance and achieve sustainable growth.
Journey
Project Plus Solutions was officially established in the summer of 2023, born from the vision and passion of our founder, Donya Ziraksari. Since then, PPS has proudly partnered with numerous private and public clients across the healthcare, energy, and technology sectors—delivering measurable results in efficiency, cost savings, and organizational growth.

Donya’s professional journey began after earning her Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of New Mexico, where she specialized in renewable energy and designed smart grids for domestic communities. Starting as a Project Engineer, she quickly advanced to managing multimillion-dollar portfolios, establishing herself as a leader who could turn complexity into clarity.

In 2018, Donya relocated to Houston and excelled in Project Management roles within midstream and downstream companies. As a consultant and Subject Matter Expert, she played a pivotal role in restructuring and building Capital Project Departments for statewide and multibillion-dollar organizations. Transitioning into the technology sector, she became a Technical Program Manager at Microsoft, leading data center development and operations projects across selected regions in North America.

Beyond her corporate roles, Donya has dedicated much of her career to mentorship, training, and education. She earned her PMP certification in 2018 and has presented Project Management, Soft Skills and Technical Skills topics at engineering schools and national seminars. In 2020, she founded ACED (Advisory Council for Engineering Development) at the University of New Mexico, where she and her team offered free online courses in Project Management, Technical Skills, and Soft Skills. These programs equipped students and professionals with certifications applicable toward PMI licenses, helping them accelerate both personal and career growth.

Donya is also a published author, having written Tehran to Miami, a memoir that chronicles her journey growing up under religious persecution in 1980s Iran. Her story reflects resilience, advocacy, and an unwavering belief in the power of opportunity—values that continue to inspire her work at PPS today. Donya, the founder of Equal Human Rights Organization, has been empowering youth to pursue their dreams through STEM education and internships by providing annual scholarships and internship opportunities.
